Trai Specification for Digitization



The most crucial reason behind the entry of almost all DTH services in India is the digitization of Cable TV Services and the TRAI Specification for Digitization. With the Government of India passing a rule to replace cable TV by set top boxes in four major metro cities of India, every cable user in these cities started seeking DTH services. The government further ordered for digitization of cable TV in entire country till 31st December 2012.
